Individual Study Programs implemented in the form of Project Based Learning
At the Silesian University of Technology, teaching is based on PBL projects. On December 13th , those interested in the topic will be able to take part in a panel summarizing PBL organized as part of the 9th edition of the competition for "Individual Study Programs implemented in the form of Project Based Learning" as part of the project "Silesian University of Technology as a Centre for Modern Education based on research and innovation".
On December 13th, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. at the Education and Congress Centre in Gliwice, Konarskiego 18B, auditorium D, there will be a panel summarizing the activities undertaken under the project so far.
In the first part of the panel, there will be a joint summary session in auditorium D. Then there will be three thematic sessions, during which each PBL group will present the results of their work in the form of an approximately 10-minute speech. The last part of the panel will be a summary of the entire event and presentation of other possible forms of support from the project.
It is worth adding that the panel will present the results of the work of students who completed IPS in the form of PBL in the summer semester 2022/2023. A total of 15 interdisciplinary projects from various University Faculties under the leadership of the main supervisor and two auxiliary supervisors who are research and teaching employees of many different units of the Silesian University of Technology were qualified for the 9th edition of the competition. The teams' work was also supported by external experts representing institutions of the socio-economic environment and internal experts who are employees of our University.
