Inauguration of the Academic Year at the Silesian University of Technology

The Rector and the Senate of the Silesian University of Technology have the honour of inviting you to the Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year 2025/2026. The ceremony will take place on 2 October at 11:00 a.m. in the Education and Congress Centre at the Silesian University of Technology at 18B Konarskiego Street in Gliwice.

The programme of the ceremony includes an inaugural speech by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Marek Pawełczyk, matriculation of first-year students, and an inaugural lecture delivered by Marcin Gajdziński, Country General Manager for IBM Poland, Baltic Countries & Ukraine.
