Inauguration of the academic year 2021/2022 at the Joint Doctoral School

The inauguration ceremony of the new academic year at the Joint Doctoral School will take place on 15 October in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation of the Silesian University of Technology.

The inaugural speech will be delivered by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk. During the ceremony, the oath of office will be taken and the principles of organisation of education in the Joint Doctoral School will be presented. The inauguration begins at 1.30 p.m. in Auditorium 200 of the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation, 2 Akademicka Street, Gliwice.

The organizers of the ceremony in connection with the ongoing COVID-19 threat are asking participants to comply with the obligation to cover their mouths and noses and to maintain social distance.
