Inauguration Ceremony of MBA studies

The Silesian University of Technology launched 3 profiles of MBA studies: Industry 4.0, Public Services and Healthcare. The inauguration ceremony will be held online on 27 March at 09:00.

MBA studies at the Silesian University of Technology offer interdisciplinary education in managerial competencies and other disciplines, such as economics and finance, management, psychology, law, social communication, media studies and many others. Currently, three profiles have been launched: Industry 4.0, Healthcare and Public Services. Their programme comprises a 550-hour didactic managerial path and a 120-hour profiled specialisation path, according to the selected profile.

The participants of the formal inauguration of the MBA studies at the Silesian University of Technology will hear the speech of the Rector, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, and the presentation of the Vice-Rector for Collaboration with Civic and Economic Environment, Professor Janusz Kotowicz.

Moreover, during the event the following speeches will be delivered: a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Associate Professor Anna Timofiejczuk PhD, DSc, Eng., the Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Professor Zbigniew Paszenda PhD, DSc, Eng.; Director of the Continuing Education Centre Zygmunt Łukaszczyk PhD, and the President of the Association of MBA Alumni at the Silesian University of Technology, Bernadeta Sojka-Jany. The MBA programme will be presented by Associate Professor Małgorzata Dobrowolska PhD, DSc Director of the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Research.

The meeting agenda also comprises the opening lecture to commence the classes.
