In the Academic Secondary Comprehensive School in Gliwice, everyone passed their final exams!

The District Examination Board has already published detailed data on the results of the matriculation exams. “Matura Exam” (school leaving examination) was held in 547 schools in Silesia. The pass rate at the Academic Secondary Comprehensive School of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice was 100%.

The numbers speak for themselves, this year’s results of ‘Matura” school leaving exams confirm the high level of education in Gliwice Academic Secondary Comprehensive School of the Silesian University of Technology. The Examination Board summary brings a lot of good news for this school.

Gliwice ALO (Academic Secondary Comprehensive School) was in the 1st place and obtained 95% pass rate in basic mathematics, ranking ALO in 1st place not only in Gliwice, but also in the Silesian Voivodeship. More than 20 people scored 100% on the exam. 53% of them scored high in mathematics at the extended level - this is the 8th result in Silesia. The average national result was 39%.

The school can also boast the best result from the exam in the history of art in Silesia. 1st place and 77% at this subject is significantly ahead of the results achieved by secondary school graduates in art schools, where students have more hours of this subject at their disposal.

The school also achieved a very high level of pass rate in physics – 70.55%, English at the basic level – 96.33%, 82.95% in English at the extended level, 64% in chemistry and biology – 67% and 55% in computer science.
