Identification of the potential of the Silesian University of Technology in the field of defence and security

The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Marek Pawełczyk asks for the applications of persons interested in the development of technologies in the field of defence and security, including the so-called “dual use” technologies, which have both civil and military applications. The invitation applies to people who already have experience in this field, as well as people who plan to engage in work on the development of such activities.

The survey is addressed to scientists, PhD students and students operating within Student Science Clubs. The technologies in question should be understood very broadly - they can be, for example, manned and unmanned objects, flying, floating, land vehicles, materials for the defence industry, control systems, materials, and devices supporting the injured, etc.

In the case of research teams or Student Science Clubs, it is enough that the application will be completed by a person representing the group.

Once the submissions have been collected and reviewed, a meeting with the interested parties will be organized without delay.
