IAAM Young Scientist Medal Award for Krystian Mistewicz, PhD
Krystian Mistewicz, PhD assistant professor at the Institute of Physics – Centre for Science and Education, has been awarded the "IAAM Young Scientist Medal". The award was granted by the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) based in Sweden.
The medal was awarded for contributions to the study of nanomaterials used to convert and harvest various forms of energy. As part of this award, Dr Mistewicz gave a talk entitled 'Ternary chalcohalide nanowires for energy harvesting, sensing, and environmental remediation', which was published in the “Video Proceedings of Advanced Materials” journal and is available at: https://www.proceedings.iaamonline.org/article/vpoam-2107194
The IAAM organisation awards the “Young Scientist” prize and medal to young and emerging scientists who have carried out high-quality research in the fields of materials engineering, engineering and technology or have demonstrated high merit and potential. The association honours scientists at an early stage of their career, thus motivating them to continue their scientific work and conduct groundbreaking research.
