Graduates of the Faculty of Architecture with awards in the "Concrete Architecture 2022" competition
Two graduates of the Faculty of Architecture - MSc. arch. Mateusz Tomaszewski and MSc. arch. Michał Wachura - became winners in the nationwide competition for the best diploma thesis "Concrete Architecture 2022".
MSc. arch. Mateusz Tomaszewski received the main prize for his work entitled "CATHARSIS. Adaptation of the concrete wreck in Szczecin". The promoter was Dr. Eng. arch. Jerzy Wojewódka, Prof. of SUT.
In turn, MSc. arch. Michał Wachura received a distinction for his work entitled "VELORAUM - Conceptual design of the development of the road junction zone on the example of Rondo Sybiraków in Zabrze". The promoter was Dr. Eng. arch. Damian Radwanski.
The nationwide competition for the best thesis of the year "Concrete Architecture 2022" is organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology and the Association of Cement Producers. This year it was held for the 23rd time. 17 projects were nominated.
