Gold Badge of Honor for Merit to the Silesian Voivodship for Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior

Dr Hab. Aleksandra Kuzior, Prof. SUT, Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology, was honoured with the Gold Badge of Honor for Merit to the Silesian Voivodeship. The Gold Badge of Honour for Merit to the Silesian Voivodeship is awarded for outstanding merits to persons and institutions distinguished in activity in the Silesian Voivodeship.

The Badge for Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior, awarded by the Silesian Voivodeship Parliament, was presented during the Business Inauguration of the New Year organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice. The award was given to Prof. Kuzior for her unique combination of scientific work and the activation of economic circles for cooperation and development of the entire region.

The Gold Badge of Honor was awarded on 20 January 2026 by councillor Mirosław Mazur, Vice-President of the Silesian Regional Assembly during a meeting devoted to the latest business trends and practical applications of artificial intelligence tools. Apart from Regional Chamber of Commerce (RIG), the event was co-hosted by the local government of Sosnowiec together with the Katowice Special Economic Zone, Zagłębie Chamber of Commerce, the Local Development Agency, and Zagłębie Sports Park.

Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior, awarded by the Silesian Voivodeship Parliament, has been integrating scientific, economic, non-governmental organizations and public administration for years, aiming to strengthen cooperation for the development of the Silesian Voivodeship.
