“Gliwice Politechnika” bus-stop

In the coming weeks, the name of the bus-stop at Krakowski Square in Gliwice will change. The current name of “Gliwice Wrocławska” will be changed to “Gliwice Politechnika.” 

The decision to change the name of the stop was taken by the City Council. Its aim is to improve the identification of stops in the urban space. This will make it easier to find the right place quickly and reduce the time needed to plan your trip. This is especially important for people who do not know the city. 

In the case of the academic campus area, this is particularly important - the new name emphasizes the importance of the Silesian University of Technology as a key point of Gliwice and a place of daily travel for students, employees, and visitors to the University.
