First engineers at Yanshan University from the 4+0 Program

On May 28^th, 2026, the first group of Mechanical Engineering students took their diploma exams at Yanshan University in Qinhuangdao, China, in the 4+0 format. Nearly 70 Chinese students became engineers.

The chairman of the examination board was Prof. Mirosław Bonek, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the board members were Prof. Marcin Adamiak, Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Damian Krenczyk, Vice-Dean for Science and Cooperation. A delegation of the Dean's College of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering checked the examination papers. The stay in China was also an opportunity to meet representatives of many internal units of Yanshan University.
