Final of the "Physics and Ecology" Competition
On March 17th , 2023, the final of the "Physics and Ecology" competition will take place at the Silesian University of Technology. The event is aimed at secondary school pupils.
The aim of the competition is to interest schoolchildren in the use of physical methods in the study of the natural environment, to disseminate knowledge about the need to protect the natural environment and climate, as well as to develop research skills.
The organizers of the Competition are Institute of Physics - Centre for Science and Education, Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering, Department of Applied Geology of the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation and the Centre of Climate and Environment Protection of the Silesian University of Technology.
The winners and authors of winning works will not only receive attractive material prizes, which will be awarded during the finals of the competition. They will also receive an additional 30 preferential points in the qualification procedure for the field of study Technical Physics - practical profile, run by the Silesian University of Technology.
The final will take place on March 17th , 2023 at the Centre of New Technologies of the Silesian University of Technology. Beginning at 9.00
