Faces of business, science, and politics. Management in theory and practice – a series of lectures
At the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology a new series of open lectures entitled "Faces of Business, Science and Politics Management in theory and practice” begins. The first guest will be Mr. Grzegorz Lot, the President of Tauron Polska Energia S.A.
On the initiative of Dr Hab. Aleksandra Kuzior, Prof. SUT, Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management, a project begins, under which the Faculty staff and students will be able to participate in meetings with well-known and valued representatives of the world of economy, science, and politics. Opinion leaders will come to Zabrze to present the specifics of their professional activity and managerial experience.
The first guest will be Mr. Grzegorz Lot, the President of Tauron Polska Energia S.A., one of the largest Polish energy companies. He will present the challenges of the energy transition and present a new management strategy.
“I am convinced that a series of open lectures ensuring direct contact between students, lecturers and invited guests with people enjoying authority in their industries will constitute an original forum for exchange of views and discussion between practitioners, theoreticians, and young adepts of the art of management. It will also allow young people to confront their ideas with specific experiences of scientists, managers, businessmen, politicians and representatives of public administration” - emphasizes Prof. Kuzior.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr Hab Aleksandra Kuzior, Prof. SUT invites you to a lecture inaugurating the project, which will take place on 23rd January 2025 at 9.00 (room C3, Faculty of Organization and Management of Silesian University of Technology in Zabrze, 26, Roosevelta Street
Grzegorz Lot, is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology. He also completed Master of Business Administration studies at the Brennan School of Business of Dominican University, River Forest Illinois, USA For nearly 30 years he worked in the energy sector, and currently he is the President of the Management Board of Tauron Polska Energia S.A.
