European 360RG-CHEM Challenge
Until October 31st, 2024, you can apply for the European 360RG-CHEM Challenge. Its aim is to popularize organic chemistry, present scientific issues in the field of organic chemistry, trigger passion in the audience.
The European 360RG-CHEM Challenge competition is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Silesian University of Technology, the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lodz University of Technology and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia in Katowice. Registration for the competition lasts until October 31st, 2024. The final will take place on December 2nd at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
The aim of the European 360RG-CHEM Challenge competition is to popularize organic chemistry, present scientific issues in the field of organic chemistry, trigger passion among recipients.
The competition is intended for students of the last year of second-cycle studies or uniform master’s studies and for participants of doctoral schools dealing with scientific organic chemistry. The research and scientific achievements described in the form will be evaluated. Participants qualified for the final of the competition will be asked to present the assumptions and results of their research in the form of a “360 second multimedia presentation” during the final session of the competition in SPINplace, Katowice, at 5, Bankowa Street
The Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences funds two awards:
- 3 thousand PLN for the best presentation in the category “Research as part of doctoral theses”
and
- 1.5 thousand PLN for presentation in the category “Research as part of master’s theses.”
Commemorative medals funded by the Silesian University of Technology and the University of Silesia will also be awarded.
