EURECA-PRO lectures
We kindly invite you to join a series of remote lectures organised within the European University EURECA-PRO. The meetings will be conducted by researchers from 7 partner universities.
There are 14 lectures on sustainable consumption and production planned as part of EURECA-PRO (European University Alliance on Responsible Consumption and Production). Issues addressed during the meetings will include sustainable development goals, circular economy, sustainability and energy technologies, responsible mining approach, the key role of materials in responsible production. The event is open to students, researchers and academic staff.
The first lecture will take place on 15 April at 1:00 pm. It will constitute an introduction to the topic of responsible consumption and production. The meeting will be hosted by Professor Jan C. The EURECA-PRO is a global educational core hub and interdisciplinary research and innovation leader in environmental and social development for sustainable consumption and production of goods. It comprises technological, ecological, economic, societal and policy aspects. The international cooperation will strengthen the higher education system in Europe, affecting mobility, civic engagement, common values and approach to responsible systems design.
The Silesian University of Technology is one of the partners of the consortium established together with 6 other universities from Europe: University of Leoben (Austria) Technical University of Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany), University of Petrosani, (Romania), University of Leon (Spain), Technical University of Crete (Greece), Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
