Enrolment for students for additional courses ending with digital micro credentials
Take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Silesian University of Technology and get a micro credential. From 13th to 17th March, enrolment for full-time students for additional classes, outside of the study program, was launched in the USOS system.
Silesian University of Technology gives students new opportunities for development by acquiring micro credentials. In the current academic year, for the first time, students of all full-time studies will be able to receive micro credentials (micro-credential) by taking additional classes from the UBZO University electives Base.
Entries in the USOS system will be launched for selected classes ending with micro credential.
Classes will take place on Fridays in remote format from 16.00-18.00.

Micro credential is a digital certificate confirming the acquisition of additional competences not covered by the study program:

You can collect micro credentials throughout your life, present them to employers, put them on the Europass platform.
How to get a micro credential:
- If you are a full-time student at the Silesian University of Technology, then you can choose additional classes in the USOS system.
- Additional classes are not part of your study program.
- Additional classes will be included in the supplement as an additional activity confirmed digitally.
- Passing the classes will be tantamount to the possibility of obtaining micro credential.
- Participation in additional classes is free of charge.
