Dr Eng. Magdalena Letun-Łątka nominated for the "Person of the Year" economic award 

Director of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer Dr Eng. Magdalena Letun-Łątka was nominated for the nationwide economic award "Person of the Year", awarded by the European Centre for Economic Development.

The nominations were awarded for an extremely impressive professional path, numerous successes, ambition, involvement in numerous projects and versatile activities. At the same time, CITT was nominated for the "Business Champion" award for its significant contribution to economic development and the commercialization of research results.

– I am very happy to be nominated for the title of "Person of the Year". This distinction proves that my work as an academic teacher and director of a general university unit has been noticed and appreciated. In turn, the nomination for the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer run by me shows that the Team I built and its activities are noticeable and recognized. I am glad that our joint work inspires action and contributes to the positive image of the Silesian University of Technology and the innovative solutions created at the University - said Dr Eng.
