Dorota Matlińska passed away

It is with deep regret that we inform that on the 21st of February, 2022, at the age of 68, Dorota Matlińska – a retired long-term employee of the Department of Mining Mechanisation and Robotisation of the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation of the Silesian University of Technology, passed away.

Dorota Matlińska worked at the former Institute of Mining Mechanisation (now Department of Mining Mechanisation and Robotisation) as an engineering and technical position from 1974 to 2014.

She was always cheerful, helpful and committed to her professional work. She was admired and appreciated by the Department's staff.

We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The funeral ceremony will be held on the 24th of February, 2022 (Thursday) at 1 pm in the Church of St. Anthony in Gliwice, Głowackiego 3 street.

After Mass the deceased will be escorted to the parish cemetery in Gliwice, Dolnej Wsi street.
