Distance learning at the Silesian University of Technology
Beginning 20 December 2021 until 9 January 2022 classes at the Silesian University of Technology may be held remotely. The ordinance covering this matter was signed on 6 December by the Rector of the University.
According to Ordinance No 226/2021, in the period from 20 December 2021 until 9 January 2022, classes at the Silesian University of Technology may be held using distance learning methods and techniques, in synchronous mode, according to the timetable. A request to switch to a form of classes using distance learning methods and techniques for a given basic unit is submitted by its head to the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education who makes a decision in this respect.
Remedial classes for the first-year students, conducted outside the study programme, will continue to be conducted in a face-to-face mode. Details of the ordinance are available below.
