Digi@Industry 2025 conference with the participation of the Industry 4.0 Centre of the Silesian University of Technology
On June the 10th, 2025, the Digi@Industry Conference took place at the Planetarium of the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. The event was attended by Dr Andrzej Soldaty, director of the Industry 4.0 Centre.
Digi@Industry conference is addressed to people managing digitization projects, responsible for digital transformation in their companies, IT specialists and everyone interested in the subject of digitization of the industry.
As part of the event, a group of experts from many companies and non-governmental organizations shared their knowledge and experience with participants representing production and engineering companies. The topics covered were innovative technologies for industry, such as artificial intelligence, virtual twin, virtual and augmented reality, or cybersecurity. There were also issues related to support for companies.
Dr Andrzej Soldaty, Director of the Industry 4.0 Centre of the Silesian University of Technology took part in the debate entitled: “Where to get fuel for development? Financing and programs supporting innovation in Polish industry.”
The discussion was also attended by experts from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Industrial Development Agency. The speakers explained how to obtain financing, what programs are dedicated to companies willing to implement innovations, as well as how to build substantive competences, without which we cannot talk about effective implementations.
Opening the panel, Dr Soldaty shared his point of view on how companies should approach digital transformation before they even start applying for funding, so that the implementation of innovations brings real benefits and high returns. The panel met with great recognition of the participants and provoked further, behind-the-scenes discussions.
