Delegation of the Silesian University of Technology visited the University of Lorraine
From the 23rd to 27th of March, the delegation of the Silesian University of Technology visited the University of Lorraine. The visit was devoted to the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of organization of the education and study service process, academic exchange, and international cooperation within the framework of EURECA-PRO.
It was one of many mobility activities involving scientists and administrative staff of our University carried out within the framework of EURECA-PRO. They are an excellent example of European cooperation at university level and contribute to improving the quality of services offered to students.
The delegation of the Silesian University of Technology was represented by the Director of the Studies Service Centre Grażyna Maszniew, the Head of the Admission Office Sabina Gorczyca-Kamaj and the University Coordinator for Didactic Loads Bogumiła Całusińska-Patejuk. The aim of the visit was to get familiarized with the organizational structure of the University and solutions that support comprehensive services for students and teaching staff on a daily basis, as well as to discuss the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the area of student exchange, implementation of joint projects.
During the visit, the delegation of the Silesian University of Technology visited the campuses of the University of Lorraine in Nancy, Épinal and Metz. During the meetings with representatives of educational units, schools, and teams responsible for international cooperation, key issues related to the recruitment process, admission procedures, as well as the rules of admission of foreign students and the organization of studies were discussed.
The talks provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices, as well as to identify new areas of potential cooperation within the EURECA-PRO alliance.
