Delegation of the Silesian University of Technology in Rwanda
A representative of our University - Joanna Hanak from the International Relations Office visited Rwanda at the invitation of the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam. During her stay in Rwanda, Joanna Hanak took part in the educational fair "Study in Europe", organized by the Delegation of the European Union. This event took place in two sites - in Kigali and in Musanze. The fairs in both places were visited by several hundred young Rwandans. They were students of the University of Rwanda in Kigali and INES Ruhengeri in Musanze.
The interest in studying in Poland among young Rwandans is growing every year. That is why a meeting with the Minister of Education of Rwanda, Valentine Uwamariya, was organized in Kigali, during which bilateral cooperation was discussed.
At the end of the stay, the representative of the Silesian University of Technology visited the partner university - INES Ruhengeri in Musanze. - During the meeting, we got acquainted with the specifics of the local university, we visited the campus, numerous laboratories, but first of all, there was a discussion on the possibility of developing cooperation between our universities - said Joanna Hanak.
Rwandans are interested in cooperation with several faculties of the Silesian University of Technology.
