Contest for scholarships for the best international students

The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology has announced a contest for scholarships for the best international students of the Silesian University of Technology commencing their full-time studies of the first or second cycle in a full course of study within the Excellence Initiative- Research University programme.

Conditions for entering the contest include:

• in case of the first-cycle students – completion of a secondary school with a final grade placing the applicant among the best 20% of graduates from a given year in classes with similar curricula,
• in case of the second-cycle students - completion of the first-cycle studies with the highest grade stipulated in the regulations in force in a given university.

The Rector’s Committee for Awards and Pro-quality Programmes will assess the submitted applications.  The scholarship is granted in the amount of 21,000 PLN gross.

The applications are collected by the International Relations Office until 31 October in case of students beginning their education in the winter semester and until 31 March in case of students beginning their education in the summer semester.

The applications may be submitted either in person in the International Relations Office (including all required attachments) or electronically (including all required attachments) to the following email address: rn3@polsl.pl.
