Construction and Safety of Engineering Structures Conference already in October

The Silesian University of Technology took over the patronage of the 1st Conference on Construction and Safety of Engineering Structures – BiBKI 2026, which will take place on 20th –21st of October 2026 in Katowice.

The event was created for people involved in the preparation and implementation of infrastructure investments, who are responsible on a daily basis for design, technological and executive decisions affecting safety, the date of implementation, costs, and the success of the entire project.

Investors, contracting authorities, designers, contractors, geotechnics specialists, and technology suppliers will meet for two days in Katowice. The conference will have a clearly technical and practical character, focusing on experience resulting from the implementation of the investment and solutions applied in practice.

The conference program will cover issues related to the implementation of road, rail, bridge, and tunnel investments. Participants will learn about experience resulting from demanding projects, proven technical and implementation solutions, as well as conclusions from implementation, in which technological and geotechnical decisions played an important role.

The conference is addressed, among others, to people responsible for the preparation and commissioning of investments, design and geotechnical solutions, technology selection, contract, and construction management, as well as monitoring, security and control of the work carried out.

Silesian University of Technology took over the patronage of BiBKI 2026, supporting an event devoted to practical aspects of preparation and safe implementation of infrastructure investments.
