Computer skills enhancement workshop for students together with employers
The Student Career Office invites students of the last four semesters of undergraduate and postgraduate studies to participate in workshops improving IT competences together with employers.
SharePoint and MS Project trainings will be conducted online as part of the project "Silesian University of Technology as a Centre for Modern Research-Based Learning" co-financed by the European Union from ESF funds. The classes are open to students of the last four semesters of undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Registration, group choice and questions can be sent to start@polsl.pl. Individuals who are interested will receive links to the meetings after they they register for particular training.

SharePoint
The SharePoint platform is most often used for team or project work when there is a need to share documents and lists with other team members or partners and customers. It is also fully suitable for creating company portals on intranets or extranets, enriched with appropriate content it can also serve as a social network.
The training is addressed to those who will use SharePoint as a tool to exchange information and data within the company, whether in the form of files, newsletters, or filling them out in specially designed forms, and for people who organise the structure and content of sites and are responsible for assigning permissions and creating workflows in intranet/intranet portals based on SharePoint.

As a rule, they are conducted according to various methodologies which may be supported by various applications. The most popular programme of this type is Microsoft Project. The training is addressed to people who want to learn the principles of proper scheduling and task and resource management in Microsoft Office Project 2019. The training is designed for project managers who want to manage their projects in a professional manner.
