Competition for young scientists
Applications in the competition for support to start scientific activity in a new research topic can be submitted until September 30th.
The competition is addressed to young scientists within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science, including doctoral students of the Silesian University of Technology, who are starting research activities in a research topic that is new to them, in particular unrelated to the topic of their master's thesis and doctoral dissertation and not financed from external sources.
The grant is awarded within the agreed budget, up to PLN 12,000 gross. Detailed information about the competition is included in Order No. 26/2023 of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology regarding the pro-quality competition for support for starting scientific activities in a new research topic, as part of the Excellence Initiative - Research University program .
