Competition for the implementation of projects with pupils of secondary schools
Recruitment for the seventh competition for financing projects implemented with secondary school pupils under the Excellence Initiative - Research University program is starting. Applications can be submitted until the 30th of January 2026.
Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Prof. Anna Chrobok, announces the 7th competition for the implementation of projects with pupils of secondary schools in the academic year 2025/2026. The competition is organized within the framework of the Initiative of Excellence – Research University program (contract No. 08/IDUB/2019/84 of the 16th of December 2019).
Applications for projects, their financing and settlement are carried out in accordance with the rules set out in the Regulations for financing projects implemented with secondary school pupils, as part of the Excellence Initiative - Research University program, in Ordinance No. 20/2023 of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology of February 8th , 2023 with later amendments.
Applications for grants drawn up on the basis of the Annex of this regulation should be sent electronically to the e-mail address of the College of Studies – KS@polsl.pl by the 30th of January 2026.
We would like to remind you that the project team may consist of 2 to 3 people indicated by the directors of schools invited to the competition, which have concluded a cooperation agreement with the Silesian University of Technology. The number of teams from one school cannot exceed 10.
The annexes contain the principles of implementation, the application, the project implementation report and the declaration and consent to the processing of personal data of the project participant.
