Competition for students and graduates for basic substantive positions in the EU institutions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as part of activities to support the professional careers of Poles in the European Union institutions, invites to participate in a competition announced by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) for basic substantive posts (ADS Administrator) in European institutions. The registration deadline runs until the 10th of March 2026 at 12:00.
Who can take part in the competition (recruitment)?
- The candidate must have the citizenship of one of the EU member states (e.g. Polish),
- the candidate must have an education corresponding to completed studies lasting at least three years (confirmed by a diploma, which was granted not later than 30th September 2026),
- no professional experience is required (competition also for students)
Language requirements:
- Very good knowledge of one official EU language (the official language of the EU is also Polish) - level C1
Good knowledge of the second official language of the EU – level B2
Stages of the competition – what is the recruitment procedure like?
- Registration and submission of applications:
- Registration is carried out online through the EPSO system – Single Candidates Portal (authorization required by the EU Login application to be downloaded from the website: https://trusted-digital- identity.europa.EU/creating-managing-and-using-your-EU-login-account_en).
- Selection tests (online on a private computer) - are carried out in one day and are divided into stages:
- Stage 1 - Test of reasoning - ability to think logically and analytically,
- Stage 2 - Knowledge of the European Union,
- Stage 3 - Digital competences - e.g. creation of digital content, IT security,
- Stage 4 - Written test - ability to formulate written statements.
