Collection of donations for the Gliwice hospice

The Volunteer Centre at the Silesian University of Technology invites you to join the collection of cleaning products, cosmetics and hygiene items for people struggling with terminal illnesses. The collection will continue until 19 November 2021.

The collection for patients from Hospicjum Miłosierdzia Bożego (transl. the Hospice of the Divine Mercy) in Gliwice is in progress. Here people in the advanced stage of incurable diseases including cancer are offered help. At the moment they need:

• body oils and lotions
• wet wipes
• barrier creams (abrasions and bedsores)
• hair shampoos
• disposable underpads
• paper towels
• washing powders
• bed linen for a single bed (i.e. a sheet with an elastic band, a duvet cover and a pillow case)

Donations are collected in:

• 21 October during the Employer, Entrepreneurship and Technology Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the organiser's booth (Student Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology)
