The project involves the implementation of an artistic and scientific project, an important part of which will be the production of a performance spectacle “Copenhagen.” It concerns one of the most important discoveries of science that led to the creation of the atomic bomb. In the atmosphere of behind-the-scenes talks, two outstanding scientists meet: German W. Heisenberg and Dane N. Bohr, before the war friends, during it located on two sides of the front. Did their conversations and decisions change the course of World War II? The presentation is an attempt to answer the question about the responsibility of science for the fate of humanity. The show will be accompanied by an exhibition describing the creation of the atomic bomb.

The event was directed by the acclaimed Polish director Aldona Figura, Modest Ruciński plays the role of Werner Heisenberg, while Adam Ferency plays the role of Bohr, and Maria Pakulnis plays Margrethe. The author of the music for the performance is Zbigniew Krzywański. The premiere show will be held at the Student Culture Centre of the Silesian University of Technology Mrowisko.
