The Silesian University of Technology reminds us about it in their latest video: "Choose science instead of learning a lesson".
In Poland, more than 50 percent of the population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. One of the best vaccinated groups is the academic community. Data from the National Information Processing Institute - National Research Institute show that 89 per cent of academic teachers and other individuals conducting classes and carrying out research activities have been vaccinated.

Such a large, global effort has resulted in a product that can be an effective weapon in the fight against a pandemic.

The COVID-19 vaccine triggers the natural production of antibodies in the human body. It also stimulates our immune cells so that they protect us from COVID-19 infection, stresses the Ministry of Health. Defeating the coronavirus is only possible by interrupting its transmission from person to person. The vaccine offers this possibility. Every person who gets vaccinated has a chance to break the chain of infection. Our vaccination is not only a protection for us. It is also a protection for our parents, grandparents, children and friends. The COVID-19 vaccine is one of the most important factors to stop this epidemic," stresses the Ministry of Health.
