On March 24th , 2024, a unique charity concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Mountain Volunteer Emergency Service (GOPR) will be held at PreZero Arena Gliwice, arranged by Jan Stokłosa and accompanied by a 40-piece orchestra.

OSTR, Kwiat Jabłoni, Igor Herbut, Tomasz Organek, Maria Peszek and Natalia Szroeder - these are just some of the stars who will grace the concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of GOPR. The audience will witness a multimedia and musical feast with the participation of popular vocalists and a 40-piece orchestra conducted by Jan Stokłosa. The concert has an important charitable dimension. The proceeds will be used to help rescuers injured in operations and their families.

Moreover, on the same day, from 12.00 to 16.00, on the main square of PreZero Arena Gliwice there will be a unique, free zone with attractions for the whole family, including: GOPR helicopter landing, presentation of GOPR equipment, climbing wall for children, fitness tasks and safety workshops.

GOPR consists of 7 regional groups and over 25,753 km² of secured mountain ranges. In 2022 alone, GOPR rescuers intervened 2,550 times and provided help to 2,699 people. GOPR helps not only tourists, but also supports residents of difficult-to-reach mountain areas. The anniversary concert will be a tribute to those who save our health and lives every day.

The event held under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, Jakub Chełstowski.

The organizer of the event is the Foundation for the Support of Mountain Rescue, Sport and Charity "Radan".

The partners of the event are: the Marshal's Office, the GZM Metropolis, the GOPR Foundation, and the City of Gliwice.
