Awards to the Silesian University of Technology scientists
Małgorzata Dobrowolska and Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska received an award in the "Scientist of the Future 2024" category during the Intelligent Development Forum Gala. Prof. Dobrowolska also received an award in the "Leader of Intelligent Development 2024" category. The Science Popularization Centre of the Silesian University of Technology was also distinguished and received the "Supporting innovation and competitiveness of the economy" award.
“Leader of Intelligent Development", which this year was awarded to Dr Hab. Małgorzata Dobrowolska, Prof. SUT, the director of the Business School of the Silesian University of Technology, is an award recognizing individual achievements. This distinction is dedicated to businesspeople, local governments, universities and research institutes, it refers to specific people and their achievements in the field of implementing innovations on the market or conducting business in an innovative way.
In turn, the "Scientist of the Future" award is dedicated to people creating a better future. This year, this title was awarded to Dr Hab. Małgorzata Dobrowolska, prof. SUT and Dr Hab. Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska, Prof. SUT– director of the Science Popularization Centre of the Silesian University of Technology.
The Intelligent Development Forum is an economic and technological event dedicated to the dissemination of cutting-edge scientific research and innovative technologies that have a high chance of market success and improving the standard and safety of our lives now or in the coming years.
The Congress serves to establish lasting relationships between visionary entrepreneurs, outstanding Polish scientists focused on cooperation with business, investors and local government officials who create attractive conditions for locating business in their regions.
Scientists and directors of units of the Silesian University of Technology were awarded during the ninth edition of the Intelligent Development Forum, which took place on June 20 in Gdańsk.
