Assistant professor and graduates of Silesian University of Technology in the finals of “Got Talent.”

Dr Eng. Krzysztof Pasterak - assistant professor at the Department of Applied Informatics and 7 graduates of our university singing on a daily basis with the LUNA Plena Vocal Ensemble from Zabrze will perform in the finale of the “Got Talent” program on Saturday, 9.05.2026 at 19:45.

LUNA Plena Vocal Ensemble will perform live in the finale of the “Got Talent” program! The Vocal Ensemble reached the semi-final forty, thanks to the Golden Button from Agnieszka Chylińska. Last weekend LUNA Plena was promoted to the finals by the so-called wild card and was among the ten best participants from all over Poland. The final episode will be broadcast live on Saturday at 19:45 and will be available on TVN, as well as on HBO Max and Player platforms.

Luna PLENA was founded in 2019 on the initiative of the conductor Barbara Gajek-Kraska, who conducts choirs and orchestra of the State Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree named after St. Moniuszko in Zabrze. Members of the LUNA Plena Vocal Ensemble meet at rehearsals in Zabrze, but they come from various cities of Silesia, as well as from Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw. These are people with many years of choir experience, for whom multi-voice singing is a passion.

Among the choirs there are both employees of the Silesian University of Technology – Dr Eng. Krzysztof Pasterak (Department of Applied Informatics), as well as graduates of various fields (computer science, applied mathematics, logistics, mining and geology, mechanics and mechanical engineering, and others), as well as people in the past singing in the Academic Choir of the Silesian University of Technology.

The choir has won numerous awards at national and international competitions – 5 times it received the Grand Prix, 9 times the Golden Diploma and 5 times it won the first place in the category. In addition, in 2021 and 2024 it was nominated for the most important choral competition in Poland – the Grand Prix of Polish Choral Studies, where it was awarded every time.

The Vocal Ensemble, through its participation in the program “Got Talent,” hopes to show a wider audience how interesting, exciting, and diverse choral music is, and to disenchant the existing ideas and associations associated with the choir. They also want to present the choir as a wonderful space for people of all ages, characters, and professions, to create relationships based on trust, music together, develop their passion and pursue a common goal.

This Saturday, the LUNA Plena Vocal Ensemble will present on the final stage. The audience will decide the winner. We invite you to cheer and cast your vote for Luna Plena!
