ARS MOLLIS - training in soft skills in scientific communication
Soft skills are an essential aspect of effective scientific communication and the art of presentation. You will learn how to develop them and how to put them into practice during the ARS MOLLIS training. The meeting will take place on October 28th , 2022.
The SUT Science Popularization Centre invites you to participate in the next edition of ARS MOLLIS - the proprietary program of the Science Advocates association. The training will be devoted to developing competences related to scientific communication, as well as adapting the content to selected communication channels and the use of new media in popularizing science.
The training will be held in the stationary form on October 28th , 2022, from 10:00 to 14:30 at the Centre of New Technologies, at 22B, Konarskiego Street in Gliwice. The training will be conducted by: Elżbieta Pogoda - a biologist, geneticist, business and personal development trainer, co-founder of the Association of Science Advocates as a specialist in scientific communication. She transfers good teaching practices from the Stanford University in the USA, the Georg August University in Göttingen and the Western University in Canada to Polish education. She actively popularizes exact sciences, cooperates with PR companies and promotes educational programs in the media. She is passionate about popularizing exact sciences and working with young people - she is developing her own educational project in the field of biological sciences, "LabIQ Children's Laboratory of Science and Play".
