We invite students, PhD students and employees of the Silesian University of Technology to participate in the Spin Business Accelerator program, organized by the University of Silesia in cooperation with SPIN-US sp. z o.o.

The program is open until October 25th, 2024.

Spin Business Accelerator is a 6-week program in which open-call teams seek solutions to challenges in the areas of environment, urban space, public health, mobility, and sustainable development of academic campuses. The program is addressed to universities belonging to the Academic Consortium of the European City of Science Katowice 2024.

Benefits of participating in the program:

- experience of working in an inter-university environment on an innovative solution in the area of sustainable urban development,
- the opportunity to win financial prizes (I prize: PLN 5000, second prize: PLN 3000, third prize: PLN 1000
- the budget for prototyping and testing the solution (up to PLN 2000),
- support of experts from various fields,
- developing the skills of designing innovative solutions using the Design Thinking methodology.

Schedule:

- call for proposals: until 25 October 2024.
- evaluation of proposals until 28 October – 1 November 2024;
- acceleration Program: 2 November – 13 December 2024;
- Demo Day: On 16 or 17 December 2024.
