Another edition of the Job Fair took place at the Silesian University of Technology
Almost 120 exhibitors, over a thousand job offers and thousands of visitors - for the 29th time , the Job, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Accessibility Fair was held at the Silesian University of Technology.
The event was addressed to students, graduates and researchers of the Silesian University of Technology and other universities, as well as high school students making decisions about the choice of educational and professional path.
– The Job, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Accessibility Fair is an event that helps to achieve the strategic goals of the University. First of all, it is an opportunity for our students to get in touch with the labour market, so that the moment of graduation is not a shock to them. It is also an opportunity to establish contacts that will result in cooperation, for example in research and development - said prof. Bogusław Łazarz, Vice-Rector for General Affair, who officially opened the fair.
This year's spring edition of the fair was attended by over 120 exhibitors - entrepreneurs, labour market institutions, career offices and student scientific clubs.
- At the fair, we can meet employers from the entire region and beyond. There are excellent companies that come just to interest our students and our doctoral students in their activities and to look for employees among them. Therefore, I hope that here students will be convinced that what they learn at the Silesian University of Technology is really valuable - said prof. Marek Pawełczyk Vice-Rector for Science and Development.
The Job, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Accessibility Fair was also attended by organizations and associations providing support to people with disabilities and people in an unfavourable life situation.
