Agreement between the Silesian University of Technology and EUVIC S.A.
Implementation of joint projects and scientific and research works, performance of expert opinions or analyses, technology transfer and commercialization of research results, implementation of research results in the economy and incubation and development of academic start-ups – this is the scope of the agreement signed by the Silesian University of Technology with EUVIC S.A. – A leader in IT and digital transformation.
On May 27th, 2025, the agreement was signed by: The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, President of the Management Board of EUVIC SA Wojciech Wolny and Vice President of the company Wojciech Kosiński. The agreement formalizes and significantly extends the temporary cooperation.
- “EUVIC S.A. is one of the leading companies operating on the IT market not only in Poland but also abroad. Therefore, being a global player, it is a very attractive partner for both researchers and students of our University. The fact that EUVIC is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, and the key personnel of the company, from the very beginning, are graduates of the Silesian University of Technology needs to be emphasised” – said the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Marek Pawełczyk.
The University and EUVIC S.A. have already implemented various projects.
“Now we want to formalize, tighten, and develop this cooperation more efficiently. I think that this will open up new possibilities in the scope of implementation of large project projects, obtaining European and national funds and commercialization” – adds the Rector.
The agreement also provides for the organization of internships and work placements for students, joint implementation of student, diploma, and doctoral theses, as well as didactic cooperation in the organization of lectures and laboratories, as well as organization of study visits and specialized courses.
