Dr Eng. Adam Wojaczek, assistant professor of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, won the third edition of the BMW M Cup motorcycle brand cup.
The BMW M Cup is organized by BMW Sikora and is held on five tracks in five European countries. The scientist of the Silesian University of Technology dominated the competition this season.
- This is my second season of competition in this class - says coming from Rybnik. Dr Eng. Adam Wojaczek. “Last year there were individual successes, such as the victory at Pannonia. In the current year, further development and improved personal records on all tracks allowed to fight for the highest laurels.
This season consisted of six weekend rounds, two races each. The scientist of the Silesian University of Technology won the best time in qualifying in each round, which is why he started racing from pole position. In 12 races he won six times and took second place five times, which allowed him to win the whole cycle. That is a great result!
