A visit of a delegation from Taiwan to the Silesian University of Technology

On August 27^th, a 4-member delegation from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology visited the Silesian University of Technology.During the meeting there was a presentation of both universities and a discussion on the principles and common areas of cooperation. The implementation of joint PBL projects and academic exchange were identified as the most important objectives.

During the meeting, the Rector-Elect of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Marek Pawełczyk and Dr Te-Kuang Chou – Interim President Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology have signed a cooperation agreement. Universities have committed to cooperation in the field of teaching and academic exchange – both student and scientific.

After the meeting, the guests visited the Gliwice campus and the European HealthTech Innovation Centre (EHTIC) in Zabrze.
