A Virus Week in the City of Science

The fourteenth of all 50 weeks in the City of Science is a Virus Week. The event takes place as part of the European City of Science celebrations.

A Virus Week is a time when we are fighting the glaring problem of misinformation about viruses, known as infodemia. In the face of the spread of fake news, which is moving almost at the speed of light and the increasing impact of anti-vaccine movements, it is becoming increasingly important to take action in the field of health education. Our goal is to promote prevention and raise public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. From proper nutrition, through stress control, to vaccination, we want to show how important these aspects are for our health.

During Virus Week, fascinating lectures will take place, and participants will be given the opportunity to explore the secrets of microbiology and take part in actions promoting vaccination. We do not forget about the fun! Our goal is to reach as many people as possible and provide important information in an attractive way.
