A teacher is also a learner. The Silesian University of Technology invites for trainings
Teachers of primary schools, educators and directors of educational institutions can take part in trainings organized at the Silesian University of Technology. The program combines academic knowledge with practical solutions that can be used in everyday work with pupils.
The offer includes eight trainings devoted to, among others, artificial intelligence, digital security, mathematics, programming, interdisciplinary education, and teacher well-being.
Eight topics that can be used at school
Participants can choose from the following training courses:
- Good Practices in using Large Language Models (LLM)
- How to use artificial intelligence in teaching mathematics and computer science?
- Mathematics is everywhere – interdisciplinary applications of mathematics
- Internet security – modern digital threats
- Safe use of mobile devices
- Programming as a tool for every teacher
- Project week in primary school – how to effectively plan and carry out interdisciplinary educational projects
- Teacher’s work-life balance – how to enjoy work again, regain energy, time, and satisfaction
The subjects of the trainings include both digital competences and the use of new technologies in education, as well as methods of working with pupils or issues related to the organization of the teacher's work.
Micro certificate at the end.
Each training ends with a micro certificate, which confirms the acquisition of specific competences. It is a form of professional development confirmation that can support teachers in improving their qualifications and planning their career path.
Classes are held at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. Each training includes three meetings of five hours each. Two of them are conducted in a hybrid formula, and one is in the form of an on-site practical workshop.
