– Our proposal for the competition challenge is a modular skyscraper. Thanks to this, any modifications of the building can be easily introduced, and adapting it to the location and incorporating it into the urban fabric would not be a problem. Such a skyscraper would have a main core where all modules would be recycled or rebuilt before being attached to the core façade. The building could grow and change constantly, giving the residents the freedom to decide in which spatial configuration they want to live - said Dawid Drożdż.
The skyscraper contains a whole range of modules to choose from - both residential and shared use, such as parks, cinemas, shops. - Thanks to this, the building would be an independent unit where most of the needs of the residents can be met. Out of concern for the environment, all modules are fully recyclable or made of materials that can be reused in the future in the construction of new elements, added the young architect. As the students emphasize, their project could be used in such metropolises as Tokyo or Hong Kong, where there is a high population density.
