A Student of the Silesian University of Technology is the winner of the Student Nobel competition
Antoni Jaszcz, a student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Silesian University of Technology, is among the winners of the Student Nobel Prize – one of the most prestigious nationwide distinctions for students. This exceptional achievement confirms the high level of education and the commitment of our students to scientific and social development.
The Student Nobel Prize has been awarded for the 17th time. The competition is organized by the Independent Student Association. The awards are granted to the most talented students from all over Poland who are distinguished by outstanding scientific, social, or artistic achievements. In this year’s edition, among the winners is a student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Silesian University of Technology - Antoni Jaszcz who won the award in the category “Technical Sciences.”
Antoni Jaszcz is a student of computer science, second-cycle studies, at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics. His publishing output consists of 13 articles in scientific journals and 14 conference papers. He conducts highly technically advanced research in the field of artificial intelligence and sonar image processing.
