3rd POB5 thematic conference

The 3rd edition of the POB5 thematic conference will take place on 19 May 2022. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format.

The conference will focus on the sub-areas of POB5:

• Sub-area 3: Digitalization and applications of information technologies (including big data processing, cloud computing, cyber security, Internet of Things, Industrial Internet of Things) - coordinator: dr hab. inż. Piotr Gaj, prof. PŚ (piotr.gaj@polsl.pl)
• Sub-area 4: Simulations and modelling of processes (including industrial processes) - coordinator:  dr hab inż. Damian Krenczyk, prof. PŚ (damian.krenczyk@polsl.pl)

The meeting is addressed to employees, PhD students and students. The conference will be held on 19 May at 15:00 and will be carried out in a hybrid form: stationary in the Centre for Education and Congress of Silesian University of Technology and online via Teams platform.

The organisers invite you to submit proposals for speeches. The conference will be conducted in English.

Submissions should include:

- title of the presentation;
- authors' details; speaker's details (including e-mail address);
- the number of the sub-area to which the presentation is submitted.

Submissions can be sent until 12 May 2022 to the coordinators' addresses:

Presentations should be prepared in English. Speaking time: max. 15 minutes max.
