Zostań niezależnym ekspertem oceniającym projekty badawcze i innowacyjne – nabór Xjenza Malta

Xjenza Malta, the Maltese agency responsible for funding research and innovation, is inviting applications to join its database of independent experts evaluating research and innovation projects. Specialists representing various fields of science, technology and innovation are encouraged to apply.

The call is open to experts with knowledge and experience in a wide range of research and innovation areas, including social sciences, health sciences, biotechnology, digital technologies and artificial intelligence, climate-related topics, engineering, transport, business, technology transfer and cultural heritage.

Applications are open to individuals residing in the European Union and the European Economic Area, including Poland. Candidates may indicate more than one area of expertise. Previous experience in evaluating project proposals and familiarity with the Horizon Europe programme will be considered an advantage.

Experts included in the database will participate in the evaluation of project proposals and other documents related to funding programmes implemented by Xjenza Malta. Their role will be to provide independent and impartial assessments in accordance with the applicable evaluation criteria and institutional guidelines. Participation in expert activities is remunerated, and applications must be submitted individually in English.

Taking part in expert evaluation offers an opportunity to gain experience in international research and innovation project assessment processes, develop professional skills and establish cooperation with experts from different countries.

The call is open on a continuous basis. The next application deadline is 31 August 2026, while the final deadline for submitting applications is 20 December 2026.
