The 9th International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering (CPOTE 2026) will be held on 23–25 September 2026 in Kraków, Poland. The event focuses on thermal engineering in the era of energy transition.

CPOTE 2026 is organized by the Department of Thermal Technology at the Silesian University of Technology, in cooperation with the Faculty of Energy and Fuels of AGH University of Kraków. The conference provides an international platform for researchers and professionals working in the fields of energy systems, thermodynamics, exergy and environmental analysis, and sustainable development.

Selected conference papers are planned for publication in leading scientific journals, including:

Energy, Renewable Energy, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Journal of Sustainable Mining, Journal of Energy Resources Technology, and Archives of Thermodynamics.
