The open lecture was preceded by the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty and Fujitsu. The document was signed by Professor Aleksandra Kuzior and Marko Radović. The agreement, specifying the principles of scientific and research, educational, training, and implementation cooperation, is intended to support the development of knowledge and the implementation of specific projects. Fujitsu employees will conduct classes for students, and the company will offer students free internships or participation in paid placements.
Next, Marko Radović presented to the numerous students gathered a presentation on managing professional development. The material had previously been presented only in Japan during classes for young leaders of Fujitsu.
The lecture, delivered from the perspective of a person managing a branch of an international corporation, addressed important issues related to managing large teams of co-workers. The topics discussed included setting the right priorities, precisely defining work efficiency indicators, building trust in interpersonal relations, and leadership.
Marko Radović focused on the principles of change management in business in the context of employees understanding the company’s values. The audience also received with interest his reflections on combining exceptionally intensive work in a global corporation with family life. The speaker did not avoid difficult topics related to professional burnout, the impact of career on health, or relations with loved ones.
The students used the meeting with the Fujitsu manager to ask questions. In his answers, Marko Radović pointed out that professional and personal development cannot be separated. He emphasized the importance of properly defining problems, developing innovative ways of solving them, and being consistent in implementing the adopted strategies.
The project “Faces of Business, Science and Politics.
