Visit of Professor José Fernandes at the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering, and Industrial Automation

Between May 5 and May 8, 2025, the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering, and Industrial Automation had the honor of hosting Professor José Fernandes from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and the University of Aveiro in Portugal.

As part of the Erasmus+ program, Professor Fernandes delivered a series of lectures focusing on sustainable development in the mineral and mining sectors in the northern region of Portugal. His presentations provided valuable insights into modern solutions in this field and sparked an inspiring exchange of knowledge.

The visit was coordinated by Dr. hab. inż. Paweł Wrona, Associate Professor at the Department of Safety Engineering.
