Projects of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for students of the Faculty of Chemistry
Six projects for students of the Silesian University of Technology received grants as part of the non-competitive project "Support for students in improving their competences and skills" (European Funds for Social Development Programme 2021-2027) organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Two of them will be conducted at the Faculty of Chemistry:
"Analysis of the influence of sex hormones and xenoestrogens on the activity of BK-type ion channels and selected aspects of the biology of human cancer cells" - amount of funding: PLN 65,070.54 Bioinformatics Student Science Club, project manager: Dr. Eng. Agata Wawrzkiewicz-Jałowiecka
"Design of polymeric materials and modern biosensors with potential applications in biomedical engineering" - amount of funding: PLN 73,200 Students' Scientific Chemistry Club, project manager: dr hab. inż. Katarzyna Krukiewicz, prof. PŚ
The aim of the project "Support for students in improving their competences and skills" is to support students in developing their competences and skills, scientific activity, innovation and creativity, by enabling them to participate in international competitions, contests, conferences.
